Nate Fox
Lead Pastor
Nate Fox has been an ordained pastor in Utah since 2001, which has helped him grow in his understanding of how to lead a church in Utah with its unique cultural and religious influences. Nate’s passion is for Salt +Light Church to introduce people to an abiding relationship with Jesus and equip them to become salt and light in their relational world.
Nate grew up all over the US and lived in Canada and Cameroon, Africa as a kid. He attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago during the 90’s where he met his incredible wife, Jackie. Nate and Jackie raised 5 children who are a tremendous blessing: Josiah, Hannah, Grace, Naomi, and Abe.
Nate loves sports. He coached competitive club soccer for over 15 years. He enjoys volleyball which he played collegiately, soccer, basketball, and golf. He is an avid college football fan. (Go Blue!) He also enjoys cooking and exploring new restaurants to try.
Nate is humbled and honored to serve and lead this community of believers called Salt + Light Church! His desire and focus is to lead a church that has a clear Great Commission vision which continually focuses on “the one” who has not heard or does not yet know Jesus. He also is passionate about this happening within a church culture and a church leadership culture that is relationally healthy and Spirit-filled.

Jeff McCullough
Jeff McCullough has served in ministry for over 25 years and pastoral ministry for 15 years. He brings a deep love for the local church and a passion for gospel-centered transformation. With two decades of experience preaching, discipling, and leading in the St. Louis area, Jeff now serves in Utah with a heart to see people meet Jesus and grow in Him—especially in a region shaped by unique spiritual and cultural dynamics.
Jeff holds a Master's in Biblical Studies from Moody Theological Seminary and began his ministry journey after a career in design and media. He is an ordained minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) and his ministry background includes student ministry, church planting, teaching, preaching and worship ministry. In recent years, Jeff has focused on using online platforms to create content that fosters curious, honest and respectful interfaith conversations about faith, Jesus, and Scripture.
Jeff met his wife, Joy, while attending Greenville College in Illinois. They were married in 2005 and have four amazing children—Alexis, Matthew, Madelyn, and Jameson—who fill their home with energy, creativity and love.
Jeff enjoys music, hockey, YouTube production and consulting and hiking the Utah mountains with his family. He considers it a privilege to live and minister in Utah and is eager to walk with others in discovering the beauty of life with Jesus. His hope is to help cultivate a church culture that is rooted in Scripture, open to the Spirit, and deeply relational—shaped by grace, truth, and love.
Bud Fuchs

Bud is an ordained minister. Bud & Lois Fuchs have been attending Salt + Light for 2 years. They lead “International Christian Fellowship Utah” a ministry in Utah County to international students. They have served in pastoral ministry for nearly 40 years. They have 4 sons, 3 daughters-in law, and 11 grandkids.
