We can't wait to see what God wants to do in our community - around us and through us! As you pray for the 10 names God lays on your heart...
1. Ask God to show you where He is at work in these people’s lives and to show you how you can join Him in that work.
2. Pray for hearts to be open and receptive to God’s leading.
3. Ask God to open opportunities for you to share the good news of Jesus with them.
4. Ask God to give you joy, courage, boldness, love, and tact as you share, encourage, and invite them to church.
SLC Youth Nights

7th-12th Graders! Join us every Sunday 6:30-8pm at SLA for food, games and Bible Study! You’ll have a blast connecting with other students and Jesus!
Pray Together
We gather every Sunday evening to ask God to provide for and bless Salt + Light Church, our ministries, and our impact in sharing Jesus’ love in Salt Lake County. We’ll also lift up whatever He places on our hearts— from the needs of individuals and families in our SLC family to the future of our nation! Whether you love to pray aloud or pray silently in your heart, we would love to see you there.

We Are Moving!
Moving day is almost here! Starting Sunday, March 1st, Salt + Light is moving to our new home at Hawthorn Academy in South Jordan.
We’ve loved Herriman, but we’re stepping through a door God has opened for us. We are moving from a place that’s hard to find to a place that’s impossible to miss—with 20x the visibility! This isn’t just a new building; it’s a new season of being a light in our community so that more people can find Jesus. God is going before us, and we can’t wait for this next chapter!

Split Youth Event
❓What's a "Split Youth Event"❓Next Friday, February 13th, SLC Youth is throwing TWO outreach events at the same time! The purpose of an outreach event is to invite your friends so that we can share Jesus to more students!
The GUYS🏀 are heading to Ninja Kids Action Park in South Jordan from 7-8:30pm! They'll be in great hands with our awesome background-checked male leaders! (Bring $24)
The GIRLS🩷 are heading to the Williams home for a Galentines Party from 7-8:30pm the same night! They'll also be in great hands with our background-checked female leaders! (Bring a treat to share!)
Groups: WeGrow (Mark)
SIGNUPS ARE OPEN!
Groups will meet weekly Feb 1 - March 15 for Part 1 of Mark
and Apr 19 - May 24 for Part 2
We’re exited to jump back into WeGrow, a quiet time journal created right here at Salt + Light Church to help you spend daily time with Jesus— this time focused on the New Testament Gospel of Mark. Our prayer is that every one of us would use this tool to grow deeper in God’s Word and in our walk with Him.
Along with that, we encourage you to join a Group—a space to process the WeGrow study together, build meaningful Christian friendships, and encourage each other as we live out our faith as salt and light in our community.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
✨Joy to the World! Discover the Joy of Jesus this Christmas!✨
Christmas is the perfect time to discover Jesus the way your heart has always longed for! Bring the whole family and let’s celebrate the newborn King by singing Christmas songs you know and love. Holiday refreshments will be served plus each child in attendance will receive a Christmas gift!

Wear whatever makes you merry! We promise you’ll fit right in wearing anything from a party dress/ slacks to jeans & your ugliest Christmas sweater.
SLC Kids Christmas Presentation
Parents! Our SLC Kids Classes are gearing up for their big presentation!
Grades 1-4 will meet in their classrooms at 10:15 so they are ready to go on stage when the service is starting! (Pre + Kinder kiddos will go to class as usual since their part is at the close of the service.

MEN ARE INVITED TO SERVE!
We are looking for men and teens age 14 and older to serve our ladies and make this a special night where they are loved and cared for! From 5:30-9:00pm, you will help ladies carry table items inside, serve coffee, and then help with clean up.

Giving of our finances is one of the ways we worship God and express gratitude for all He’s done and all that He provides in our lives. Giving is not something we have to do, instead it’s something we get to do! We honor God when we give willingly, generously, and faithfully. We encourage you to give towards what God is doing here at Salt + Light Church and all He wants to accomplish in 2026!

Youth Service Project: Thanksgiving Heroes
We’ll meet at the school then deliver groceries for a full Thanksgiving meal to a family in need! We’re excited for students to have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus in our community in such a practical way!
After our deliveries, we’ll text parents when we’re headed back to the school.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection
Boxes & brochures available on Sunday mornings.
Pack a shoebox with inexpensive gifts and change a life forever. This is an amazing way to share God’s love with children and communities all over the world! Since 1993 shoeboxes have been shipped to 178 million children in over 160 countries and territories. When a child receives a shoebox he/she also receives the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Return boxes to SLC by Sunday November 16.

Summer Blast
9am - 12noon Daily
Grades 1-6 (entering fall 2025)
Join us for an “Alaskan adventure” where we’ll discover that Jesus is our true north!
Through exciting daily rotations like Rustic Rec, Imagination Station, and Bible Adventures, kids will laugh, dance, snack and play as they discover that Jesus is the ultimate faithful friend we can always trust. He's our True North!
Mother's Day 2025
Every year we look forward to this special time of celebrating the women in our lives and thanking God for the invaluable role they play in pointing their children to abiding relationships with Jesus! We’ll have a gift for every woman in attendance!
CHILD DEDICATION
We will take time in our service to thank God for the gift of our children and to challenge parents and our church family to raise these little ones to know Jesus’ love and abide in Him! Please let us know if your family would like to participate in this special event.
Pancake Fundraiser
Our Salt + Light Youth Group is throwing a pancake fundraiser to lower their camp fees! Arrive EARLY to the service between 9:30-10:15 OR stay afterwards to enjoy delicious freshly made pancakes! This event is donation only so come hungry and ready to be generous!
All 5th-12th grade students who are attending either Junior High or High School Camp this summer, please sign up to help serve at the breakfast!
Good Friday Communion Service
Mark your calendar now for this special communion service. Before celebrating the resurrection on Sunday morning, let’s pause to remember the cross and all that Jesus endured in order to bring us eternal reconciliation with God!

Donate Easter Candy
We’re making Easter baskets to hand out to kids on Easter Sunday at Salt + Light! We can’t wait to show Jesus’ love to our kids and all our guests!

SLC Youth Night Out
Join us at NINJA KIDZ ACTION PARK for a fun night out on March 23rd! You will be paying AT Ninja Kidz so make sure to bring $13 cash or a card to buy your pass and trampoline socks. Have your parents sign your waiver with the link provided! We’re excited to see you there!
