Meet Sara and Casey Allgood, part of our Lifestone family. Last month they celebrated their one year wedding anniversary. 2019 was a challenging year for them, but they overcame obstacles with grace and a strong faith in God. One obstacle was Sara's intense migraines. In December after an MRI, it was discovered she has a brain tumor, one fourth the size of her brain and needed immediate surgery to remove it.
Though the surgery was mostly successful, Sara is now undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to manage the size of the tumor. Sara does not have short term disability and she has been out of work for 18 weeks. Half of this year's Lifestone Church Easter Gift will be used to cover her cancer treatment. Sara's smile shines bright as she keeps her positive attitude and strong faith.
